1. About AskTheOwners

AskTheOwners is a pre-launch community platform being built for vehicle owners in India. Our purpose is to help car, bike, scooter and EV owners discover trustworthy dealerships and service centers through verified community experiences.

This website is currently a market-validation landing page. We are collecting experiences and feedback from vehicle owners to understand what to build. No public review platform exists yet.

2. User-Submitted Content

When you submit an experience through our questionnaire, you are providing information about your personal experience with a dealership, service center or other automotive business.

• You must only submit experiences you personally had.
• You must not submit false, misleading or defamatory information.
• You must not submit experiences on behalf of others without their knowledge.
• You grant AskTheOwners a non-exclusive licence to use, aggregate and publish your submitted experience (in anonymised or attributed form) as part of the AskTheOwners platform.

3. Review Moderation

AskTheOwners reserves the right to review, verify, edit or remove any submitted experience before it is published publicly. We may contact you using the phone number or email address you provided to verify your experience.

Experiences that are found to be false, abusive, defamatory or in violation of these terms may be removed without notice.

4. Privacy

Your personal contact information (phone number, email address) is never published publicly. It is used only for:

• Verifying your experience before publication.
• Notifying you when AskTheOwners launches (if you opted in).
• Contacting you about your submitted experience if required.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Uploaded documents (such as invoices or service bills) are stored securely and are not publicly accessible.

5. Uploaded Documents

If you choose to upload a document as proof of your experience, please be aware that documents may contain sensitive personal information such as your address, vehicle registration number or billing details.

Uploaded documents are used only to help verify experiences. They will not be publicly displayed without appropriate handling and your consent. Please avoid uploading documents containing sensitive personal information unless necessary.

6. Disclaimer

AskTheOwners is currently in pre-launch. The platform, features and community described on this website represent our intended product direction and may change.

Any conceptual Trust Scores, example ratings or sample data shown on this website are clearly labelled as examples or concepts and do not represent real data.

AskTheOwners is not responsible for the accuracy of user-submitted experiences. Experiences represent the personal views of the submitting owner and not the views of AskTheOwners.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding and code on this website is the property of AskTheOwners. You may not reproduce, copy or distribute any part of this website without written permission.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
